Well Jerdon was kind enough to give me a golf bag caddie. I have been kicking it around like a tin can in my brain, about how I could transport my tube behind my bike like you do kids. Pleasant Valley Res outside of Bishop has a bit of a walk to tube. People ride there bikes in so that is how this began. I used a ole hardwood handle for the cross support for now,(  plan to replace with an expandable pole so I can stow it on the tube) and the existing hardware, a few bunji cords. All my gear in the storage pockets, fins strapped to the D rings on the underside and rods tethered to the bottom side of the tube and hands free. It walks really well. I need to make a bracket that will couple the two together...........GT

Aren't you the ambitious one. 20 hours later and you got a working prototype. I hope you can video tape a couple of high speed runs to test the stability.

It doubles as a pocket box holder and I'll eventually try to mount a trolling motor on it.

Nice, but where do you secure your bike and cart while you are way out on the lake? When I have a long walk to get to the water from the parking area like the Bernasconi spot at Perris, I use a lightweight dolly (or handcart) that I strap my Float tube, fins and rods to with small bungee cords. After I get everything ready to launch, I chain and lock the dolly to a tree. After a long day of float tubing, the walk back uphill to my truck was exhausting when I had to carry everything. The dolly really made it much easier for me.

This is great guys simply ways to help carry your tubes long distance to the water, keep it up.
