Just wanted to give a heads up to those that have not heard yet, England is joining our Tournament. Or yes it is Mscustomflies but in time I hope we will land a larger group over seas as well.

This brings up new challenges, and I want everyone to know Mscustomflies and myself are working to make this possible for them. We will need to have a separate list for fish in there areas. So far Mscustomflies is not concerned with to many changes on the list simple adding grayling in place of bass. We will come up with sizes as well as I am sure a few different fish to make this more exciting for them.

Also we need to re-look at the pike and the minimum length we will allow as he will be killing it with pike guys. LOL just wanted everyone to know we are working out the details.

I think it's great we have a UK member and contender and mscustomflies seems like the perfect guy to help us expand and make sure we are inclusive of tubers everywhere.

Cheers, mate!

I think Mscustomflies seems like a fair minded guy.
His input should make the contest more interesting.

I forgot to say in my pm, other European countries like Spain do have freshwater bass populations, think they have black bass and possibly largemouth, here in the UK we only have a saltwater bass to me it's just a bass as we have no other species but in the restaurants it's known as sea bass. There's a few crazy Spanish guys who target wels catfish on tubes, the size of those are ridiculous, I can't even begin to imagine a fish up to and possibly bigger than 90" from a tube

Ya the wells cat would be so cool to catch, but I think this is one that will not make the list. I think it is just to hard to regulate in the long run. I will leave the Bass on your list so we can entice more from your area in time.

Wels catfish are legendary! There's a Brit on YouTube catching one from a tube and he has to have a buddy in a skiff land it. Also a Spanish guy catching one that looks to be at least 4ft using a duck lure. The catfish takes the lure up close, so you really see it happen.

For the Europe list you could remove muskie, crappie and bluegill if you wanted. We don't have panfish like you guys although I have heard the odd pumpkinseed has been caught but don't personally know anyone who's caught one

Ok i will do that and add Pumkinseed in for bluegill, or just leave it panfish. I am thinking might pull the muskie from the freshwater list over all. Tough to tell the difference between a muskie and a pike anyway.

Personally I'd just pull the muskie, bluegill and crappie from the Europe species list
