just got an Elite-4x CHIRP now i need a battery! what should i be looking for. its for a float tube

Welcome to the forum, rucker!

We have a couple of threads running now talking about batteries. Here's a start...

Most of us appear to be using 12v SLA batteries in home modified waterproof cases. Some guys use ammo style cases, I prefer the Pelican cases.
