Fished Mountainview again 10/18 - 10/21. Lots of small planters but still some big ones.
Fish liked the pine squirrel leach pattern in red
and crayfish and the midnight flash pattern,

Nice report and nice catch!

I've never used a fly rod, but I have stream fished wet flies I tied myself (woolly worms and nymphs) on a "fly and a bubble" set up and there's nothing like catching fish on a bait you made yourself. Nowadays I'm a salt guy and I'm thinking that pouring my own soft plastics is probably in my future. Thanks for the inspiration!
