Went fishing with my buddy and his girl with one goal in mind: get her on a fish. She had never caught before. She got bit first (of course) but lost the fish right off the shore. Immediately before we could finish giving her the consolation hug, the bell on my rod started screaming. I ran over, set the hook, felt the power, then did one of the hardest things I've ever had to do... I gave her that giant to reel in. She got it in. Here's the result. Carpzilla.

No worries it looks like iPhone updates do not allow picture loading to the forum. No different with Samsung either I have never been able to post from my phone. We sure would like to see it when you get a chance.

What a bummer too... For the first time ever I finally was able to post through my iPhone. All of those photos in my "Gone too long... Here's an update" post were done through my iPhone. Whatever OS version that I was using before the update yesterday was perfect for the forum. Other than that... The update is actually pretty sweet.

Thanks fellas! The world needs less x boxes and more tackle boxes! The world would be a better place if we all just fished it out.

She brought that sucker in on 6lb fluorocarbon. It jumped and splashed us like Shamu.

Great story! First you hook the fish and then you hand over the rod and hook a new fisherman into the sport. She'll never forget the experience. Nice one.

Man! What a monster!
Kudos brother for giving her that experience.
She'll be hooked for sure now and what a way to remember it.

Is that the "spot" in Chino?

And as far as how I finally got the pic of carpzilla uploaded, I wish I could say it was from the iPhone but it was from my PC in my office.
