Haha,
last year we all jumped in Lake Perris and the weather followed us to that one little spot in the IE. This year we got Nebraska, Lake Perris, and ????

If me and you go to RedCloud and the weather follows will we have to box a way back home.

Oh we are so gonna win this tournament! Team Freshwater is seeded with Heavy Hitters!

But in the spirit of good and fair competition I'm still thinking of some tips for you Salty Dogs.

HaHa! If ya show up in Red Cloud we'll put ya up!

I'll be posting all the pertinent team stuff as soon as I get my end from Jeff.

TEAM FRESHWATER ROCKS!

Things are looking I will admit for Team Freshwater, but I have learned over the years don't count your chickens till there hatched.

That's a great suggestion Jeff! The Saltwater team could fill all of that slack time not catching fish with counting Sea Gulls. pirat

Per our donator largest target species only. So this year it will be the largest spottie or the largest LMB.

This years rules:

Saltwater VS Freshwater Battle of the Tube 2016 -- contest and rules.
2 teams of 10 Float Tubers from each Team (Saltwater Killers and Team Freshwater) will go head to head in their own waters on May 28th from 7am till 2pm. This will be a contest of who can catch the most fish on the day. I will provide a code the night before the 287th by text to each team Captain for each member to use the day of the event. The code can be written on your hand or a card, or by whatever means necessary. The code will need to be seen in each picture of your catch to count for your team the day of the event.

Team Freshwater will be fishing for Largemouth Bass, and each bass will need to be 10” or more to count for the overall total numbers of fish.

Saltwater Killers will be fishing for Spotted Bay Bass and each bass will need to be 10” or more to count for the overall total numbers of fish.

Each team will only be allowed to have 10 float tubers on the water competing at one time, If more sign up they can be considered alternates and must be identified in this thread to count. Each team Captain will be responsible for letting me know which 10 will be competing the day of. You can all fish different locations if you like so you might want to plan for this (this is not just a California thing). Each team Captain will be responsible for e-mailing me the picture of their catches for the day's event no later than 5pm Sunday the 29th of May . Once everything is done I will be looking over all the pictures and post the winning team on Sunday the 29th.

Quick Rules Break Down
1. 10 float tubers for each team.
2. 7am till 2pm
3. 10” fish and bigger
4. Picture must have code in it to count
5. E-mail all picture to me by 5pm Sunday May 29th.
