Here is a Frankensteined rod I have just put together. It is a Shimano rod bland spliced with a Diawa reel seat and cork handle. Sometimes you just have to use what you have on hand. Nothing special but I am starting to really like this set up.

Nice, was wondering when you were going to start wrapping again. Gotta start hitting yard sales for rods to rewrap again.
