Hello everyone.
I'm new to float tubing. I just took delivery of a Togiak yesterday evening, blew it up last night and took it out today on Lake Chatuge, powered by a pair of Scubapro Sea Wing fins. I saw some bass and baitfish jumping, cast to them with a size 6 blue-and-white Clouser minnow on an 8 wt fly rod, stripped in and caught an 18" smallmouth; my very first bass on a fly. I'm very interested in learning from the more experienced float tubers here.

Emmet that is so cool to hear you got out for your first tube trip, and landed your first Smallie on a fly. Nice work welcome to the board and we look forward to hearing more from you. Search around and ask questions these guys on the board are very helpful.

Emmet your not to far from me. I'm in Southeast Tennessee in Bradley County. I've fished Chatuge years ago as well as Nottley.
