Just curious what you guys use for bait in the harbors in both day and night conditions. Thanks!

Squid will get you just about anything day or night.  It's the most common bait out there as everything eats them.  If you're after perch they usually only feed during the day from personal experience, and they're not too picky and prefer shrimp, peas over shrimp IMO.  Lugworms also work really well for bass, perch, and croaker if you're willing to buy them.  And, from what I understand the most deadly baits for harbor fishing are ghost shrimp and inkeeper worms.  Those two baits are literally like crack for all species, but they are usually pricey to buy or require effort to catch.

In terms of presenting the bait I'd suggest a reverse dropper loop or C-rig to present it in the most natural way.  You will get snagged quite a bit, but the fish tend to like this presentation more. On that same note a classic dropper loop is the most common presentation, but it's the most unnatural so you may not get as many bites.  If you want more contact with the bait a jighead or T-rig with a baitholder hook does the job just fine.

As far as lures go, the most versatile lure is the grub as it can be fished as a reaction lure or finesse lure and it covers water.  For sizes I'd say go with 2"-4" and pair it with a 1/4oz-1/2oz jighead depending on the line size you are fishing with.  For 1/4oz I'm finding that 8lb is a good match, 3/8oz matches well with 10-12lb, and 1/2oz is good with 10lb+.  If you fish a heavier leadhead on lighter line be prepared to lose jigheads and curse fish out lol!  Good luck dude, catch some fish, and please post your adventures!

Pro cure is awesome, def helped me landing some fish. I use warbaits jig head with 3' big hammers, and apply pro cure on them and I am good to go.
