Hello fellow anglers,
Just ordered a new Cumberland Float Tube and joined this forum to read all the great information shared for Tube modifications Tips and whats going on at the local lakes. I chose that tube based on reading reviews from all the brands available and noticed that the Cumberland tube is a very popular model among the F.T.F.F.
I usually fish over at Lake Perris or the Eastern Sierras so if you see a guy with a fly rod cruise over and say hi and we can exchange fish reports. I was Talking to DFG out at Perris Lake yesterday and he was drilling holes in manzanita bushes for all new fish structure that will be submirged with cinder blocks next week due to the low lake level. You can see in one picture all the bushes ready to go in the lake and he has the whole length of the launch ramp full of bushes still ready to be drilled! I thanked him on behalf of every fisherman. The other picture shows the exposed old structures that are now all above Lake level![You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]" />

DFG worker, name withheld, said after the Dam is finished with all its repairs the plan is to fill the Lake back up to its highest level like was in the 1970's. He said 2 1/2 years away for that to happen Sad   That is quite a ways out and would love to see that happen sooner.
I purchased my Float Tube because it looks like a comfortable way to fish and get into some high country lakes to access spots you cant fish from shore.

Tight Lines..and Good Fishing!

Thanks Jeff,
Last time at Perris a 3lb bass on 4wt had on Orange Woolly Bugger jigging off the bottom from shore at the launch ramp. Now having a tube will open a whole new world of opportunity there Thumbs Up
