1 Fly Fishing For Panfish on Mon May 16, 2011 2:50 pm

CanadianTubeFisher

I was out last Friday on my day off fly fishing. The weather was all over the map with some rain, light winds, clouds and sunny spots. I started my day with a dark deer hair beetle that worked well so I thought would they hit a green deer hair beetle? They did! When the sun came out I then tied on foam spider that they really seemed to like and caught more fish on the spider than I did on the beetles. Here are the pictures from that day.

That is not my boat but thought it was worth taking a picture of.

Thanks, That shirt was just given to me as a gift for taking a buddy out to a private bass lake. I had my fly rod with me that day but lost a small part from the reel as I was fishing a deer hair frog from the dock. The video was all jumpy and shot from the dock. Not much video to edit anyway. I still had a great time! I will be bass fishing again this summer & will have more pictures and better video.

Cheers
