Put a FF (Lowrance) on my tube last month before last Crowley trip.
It worked really well.

Used

1. Float Tube Fanatics mounting system
2. RAM 1" Ball Marine Electronic "LIGHT USE" Mount
3. Extra straps
4. My Wife's incredible sewing skills!

Clean and compact

Ram mount snaps right in to FF. Adjusted it so FF sits two inches lower than stock bracket.
Just had to drill out one of the RAM mounting holes a little. Then it fit fine on bolt that comes with Float Tube Fanatics mount.

Pouch holds extra transducer cable and slips in front pouch of tackle bag.

ram mount tucks screen in nice and tight.

Added two horizontal straps, one on each side. Connects the tackle bag straps to FF strap. These keep the FF from sliding off when fishing or carrying tube.

RAM mount allows me to drop screen below level of tackle bag when storing or stacking another tube on top in the back of my truck.

Transducer up for travel, launching and landing.

Transducer down for fishing.

It sits about 4 inches below water line.
Worked great, compared depth to a couple of my buddies in their boats and spot on.

In fact I leaned hard on that side of tube dropping that side about 3 inches and screen showed the change.

Custom draw string screen protector.
