Rod holder mounting question...

Hey everyone, I am wondering if anyone can tell me if a RAM rod holder with side mount will have the same bolt pattern as the Scotty tube mounting straps.

I have a Scotty holder, but I want to pick up a RAM holder as I think it will work better for my situation.

It looks like the bolt pattern is similar, but can anyone confirm this?

I can't post the links since I am not 7 days since joining, but the model #s:

Scotty Float Tube Adapter: No.266
RAM ROD 2000: RAM-114-BU

Maybe...

My cat partners 20' pontoon has ten holders. They are a combination of BPS, Scotty, Attwood, and some no name brand. The name brand ones don't fit snug in the no-name mounts, but work just fine in the other ones (ie: Scotty holder in Attwood mount).

In looking at the mount for yours, it looks pretty much identical to the Scotty brand. I think they are universal adaptations between companies, but again I am not certain for sure.

Thanks! I am going to pick one of these up I think, I am pretty certain the bolt pattern on these are similar across all brands. I just wanted some proof Smile

I am trying to decide between the 114 or the really cool RAM-ROD Light-Speed holder.. The lightspeed looks pretty slick, but I don't know how well it'll work with a float tube pulling it up and popping it down.

Sweet! I had no idea, but lucky me there is a shop gpscity.ca that sells these holders, and for a good deal.

I can pick them up after work today and I hope to get them on in the next day or 2. I'll post some pics of my setup once I do! yay!
