I am glad to see a forum all about float tubes and good people that enjoy fishing as much as I do. My name is David, I live in San Antonio, TX and fish a few times a week all around town. I am retired Army and go to school full time now and fish all the time. I am registered with San Antonio Fishing Forum (SAFF), it is a great forum just like this one and helps me locate new areas around town to test my fishing gear out with. I gotta be honest and say I would have never considered a float tube to be out on the water with but after researching different kayaks and me only having 2 cars.. neither which I wanted to pay the extra money to install roof racks to hold the yaks.. I realized a nice tube was what I needed. Besides the wife said she would divorce me and stick the yak up my.. she was cool with a nice quality float tube though so I'm excited to see what I should get now. Feel free to message me anytime especially if you are from this city and want to hit the lake up one day.
