Saw the rod below the other day looks interesting. would be a nice way to always have your gear with you, may even be nice to have a shorter rod on the tube.
Just curious if anybody has any experience with them, and do they perform as advertised?

The smallest rod I've used is a 3.5' rod used for ice jigging. Perfect for float tube for vertical jigging. Purchased one from the local mountain site, until it broke by one of the monsters that lurked at the bottom of Lake Perris.

Probably good for it's designed purpose, backpacking! There is no substitute for a good one-piece rod.
