Hey guys!  My name is Alex, my better half and I are from RI and we fly fish for everything from native brook trout to Bluefin tuna.

We had talked about buying tubes or toons for a while and just kept putting it off.  It was on a trip to PA (not fishing related but we planned to spend an extra day to fish) that we decided the time is now.  The plan was to fish the river systems for smallmouth, but with them running at beyond dangerous levels and looking like the amazon with so much mud that definitely wasn't going to happen.  We ended up driving around and found a couple REALLY nice pods, FULL of bass and pickerel.  There was no way to fish it from shore or wading!  There were bass and pickerel cruising right in front of us with no way for us to fish the pond, talk about frustrating!

That is when we decided it was time.  We are now fishing FC4's and really like them.  Like with any gear, I can not stop at one and plan on picking up another, maybe something slightly bigger and using it in the salt.  Stripers and False Albacore tuna from a float tube?  Yes please!

If you guys have any questions about myself, or the fishing here in the north east please feel free to ask!

Welcome to the forum. You say tuna from a tube, that would be bad ass! I would do it but not here in So Cal.
