What's up everyone, my name is Nick live in Huntington Beach..
Just picked up my new Fishcat 4 Deluxe and would like to start hitting up the HH for some fishing fun.
I have never fished from a float tube but very stoked to start.
Any advice on Huntington Harbor would be greatly appreciated.

Huntington harbor is awesome. Never tubed it but everytime I fish it the current is always ripping. Strongest currents I have seen in a harbor

For your first time I say you should hit up alamitos bay the current isn't bad their an easier spot to get the hang of your float tube IMO

Thanks for the advise everyone, still waiting on my force fins to be shipped also I need to mod my tube with some pole holders..
I will take your advise on hitting up Alamitos bay to get use to my tube first before I give HH a go.
So do a lot of you guys go fishing togather? Seems like a great bunch of people on this site...

The site has regular gatherings & its own tournament series, most of the guys has fish together one time or another, its a good way to meet people & learn from them when ur just getting started.with summer around the corner,im sure another gathering/tournament series should be popping up soon, keep an eye out! Thumbs Up
