1 Tubey Newby!!! on Mon May 28, 2012 3:06 pm

Happy Memorial Day and thanks to ALL who have sacrificed and served! I visited my Father and Mother, BOTH Navy officers, at Fort Rosecrans this past week, where they are interred. Thinking of you both on this day....and thanks for retiring in San Diego!
A great place to grow up since the late '50's.

Am up in Encinitas now for 32 years and joined the forum a year ago to gather info for my brother(no computer) who had bought a Fatcat tube. Previously he had bought an Outcast Fishcat 10 pontoon and a trolling motor and never used either.(the pontoon is for sale on Craigslist now, btw!) Well he STILL hasn't used the tube so he bought ME one for my B-day a few weeks back so we''ll get each other out there!!!

So have been in the accumulation-of-tubing-gear-process and appreciate the info gleaned on this forum. I just ordered a pair of Buck's tube fins sight unseen and hope they work out. Strongly considered the Hotspots but have never seen a product/size so hard to locate. I'll reserve my comments on Turners for another time! Also bought a Fishgrip off this site and it is excellent.

Hopefully my Bro and I will be joining you'all in the very near future. I believe the salty and fresh bass are already trembling...even though we're both C & R only!!!

welcome! plenty of great tubing down there in San Diego! I think MASSFISHER is unloading some of his float tube gear, so you might want to reach out to him to see if he has anything else you might need.
