Just make sure to read all the reviews. One of my buddies had one seize up on him in the salt. Although it could've been an isolated incident since he didn't take care of it at all.

Yeah, not sure what size though. But he would leave it attached to the rod in bed of his truck with the float tube and sand everywhere

haha, funny thing i remember when my buddy dropped his quantum cabo pts in the sand lol

had it cleaned out but it was never the same again,..

Nice reel, my neighbor has the same one with no problems but he does clean it after every salt water outing.

I had two of them and sold them. Not because they were not good reels, but because I sold them to buy my Lew's Tournament Pro Speed Spools. Check them out! They are sweet, sweet reels and great reviews.

The Smoke is nice reel. Im glad that other companys are finaly making good reels again and give us westcost guys some option beside Shimano and with Shimano's customer service going down hill its nice to have options

okuma reels seem to be pretty good from the reviews I have seen and priced fair as well.

They seem to have shimano match reel for reel and price.

quantum is good to but the only problem with them is if you need parts. they are not on the west cost and there is no authorized dealers around either

in the jungle i have hooked into beasts that pull hard and fight like hell, that little extra drag will help,..
