I like it! Looks nice and stable and it's cool how you got it to fit around the pocket like that.

Excellent design around the carrier bag. Perfect to adapt the quick snap straps to hold things in place when the weight becomes too heavy. Excellent sealing by the way. That will create a possible 2lbs of possible buoyancy. If the weight is too much for the holder, add a 4" PVC pipe (about 14" long) sealed at both ends, strap it to the holder just right below everything, and you'll gain that extra 4lbs of float without any problem. It will also help you with the possible accidental slip to the side if you happen to knock the rods with your elbow/arm.

Nice design!
Did you use a heat gun to bend the PVC pipe?
It looks like the inside wall collapsed from the bending.
I don't know if it really works, but you can try to fill the pipe with sand to help hold it's shape during the bend process. I'm also sure that it also matters where you apply the heat to soften the PVC pipe

Thanks guys. This one was just a trial run. I'm already in the process of creating another one that will hold a few more rods.

Yup, used a heat gun to bend the pvc and did fill the pvc with sand before bending but wasn't able to compact the sand enough to eliminate the kinks. Plus working with heated pvc is difficult to handle. Takes much practice to get the hang of it. Hopefully the next one comes out better.

Sometime this week I'll post some pics of the steps I took to create this holder.
